TR Homes is a Regional Housing Awards Winner

As Western Australia’s most HIA-awarded modular builder, TR Homes has again proven its excellence by taking home multiple honours at the 2024 HIA CSR Regional Housing Awards.

Our commitment to quality and innovation was recognised with the Modular and Prefabricated Housing of the Year and Lightweight Housing ($450,000 to $580,000 and under $500,000) awards in both the South West and Mid West regions. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, who strive to deliver exceptional homes to regional Western Australians.

South West Winning Home: A Grange Country Dream

The South West winning home is a stunning 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom Grange farmhouse, showcasing TR Homes’ largest home design with personalised touches. Proud homeowners Terry and Kirsty Lundie chose this award-winning residence for their 5-acre Yallingup property, opting for a complete tree change after falling in love with the Grange display home (they were initially enquiring about a holiday home!).

Their new home features space for their three adult children, a grand piano, pool table, fireplace, and stunning design elements such as Caesarstone benchtops, James Hardie external cladding and a freestanding bath.

“We absolutely adore our TR house! From the very beginning of our journey with TR, the process was so seamless, the quality of the work and attention to detail was outstanding and we couldn’t be happier. The design of the Grange suits our block, our family and lifestyle perfectly, we wouldn’t change a thing. We would recommend TR to anyone who is looking at a new build, no matter where you are building.”

Mid West Winning Home: A Cyclone-Resistant Haven

The Mid West-winning property is a Hamelin Bay design, which is currently on display at the TR Homes Maddington display village. Proud owners Bruce and Shauna Wynne moved into their new home last year (2023) after a cyclone devastated their original house.

Their new home offers comfort and security with features like a freestanding Caesarstone kitchen bench and expansive verandahs to enjoy the property’s breathtaking views. The home’s striking light and dark colour palette complements the vibrant red earth of Morowa. The retired couple is thrilled with the quality of their new home and, not to mention, this latest win.

A Special Thanks

Congratulations to all the HIA award winners who attended this event, which recognised and showcased WA’s top regional builders and designers. We also wish to thank the sponsors and judges, who were highly experienced building experts, for their contributions and careful consideration.

TR Homes' Legacy of Excellence in Modular Building

TR Homes has a long history of industry recognition, with over 32 awards won since 2009 (check them out on our awards page). The recent wins have automatically entered the company into the WA HIA Housing awards, with results being announced in late November.

TR Homes will continue to deliver quality homes that change people’s perception of what a modular home can be. As we continue to lead the way for modular and prefab housing in Western Australia, we eagerly await the outcome of the State awards and look forward to celebrating more successes in the future.
